Why would you want 2 extra Ropes? Primarily two reaseons:
1. To be able to set up an extra secure Bipod, with one rope on each side.
2. If you intend to use the Uview Angle with more than one backpack. I (David) use the Uview Angle with both my primary backpack (50L) and with my daypack (20L). Since you leave the rope attached to the backpack, you'd want two ropes for this, and then the third for the above usage.
3. A third reason is I often use the extra rope as a clothes line while traveling.
